Serifos

Serifos is an island of the Aegean Sea that belongs to the Cyclades. Here Perseus, Zeus’s mythical son grew up and beheaded Medusa, the terrible monster. From here, Odysseus went on returning to Ithaca. Inhabitants have built the island, respecting the architectural style of Cyclades islands, small little houses with blue windows. The few shops, bars, cafes and taverns are distinctively into the narrow streets. The morphology of the island is such that the beaches of the island are numerous and varied. Rocky shores, beaches with pebbles or golden beaches and of course crystal clear waters. There is the beautiful beach, called Psili Ammos, which has been awarded as the 1st of twenty best beaches in Europe. This island is for those who are looking for destinations, that mass tourism will never touch
