Lefkada

Lefkada is the fourth largest island in the Ionian Sea. This island is a natural attraction with coastal settlements as well as mountainous villages built in the green nature. The mountains of the island are important biotopes in which many rare species of plants, birds and mammals live and grow, while there are dozens of caves, waterfalls and water sources. Lefkada has many scenic beaches of unparalleled beauty characterized by their turquoise waters and white sand or pebbles which are ranked among the most beautiful beaches in Greece and the entire Mediterranean. Near village “Nydri”, one of the most famous islands in Greece and all over the world: “Scorpios” – the private island of the magnate Aristotle Onassis.
